Starbucks - San Rafael

Beautiful downtown San Rafael Starbucks on a sunny day. Good music, good service and nice mix of people. Pour over Coffee Options is a good alternative to Pike's, which is now the only afternoon brew in all Starbucks shops. Also make sure that your phone or laptop is charged when you come to this place. They pulled out all the electrical sockets here. Darn!

During the Christmas season a happy young playful staff had. This was Christmas joy despite the red flag to be just another company Starbucks. I must admit that I REALLY like the Juniper Latte (Christmas Seasonal)

The world-famous Rafael Theatre is next door and the Mill Valley Film Festival covers this starbuck every year. Many activities in downtown are here. Previously a beautiful place to meet with friends. Not anymore. It was made by entertainment lounge chairs, electric outlets and much of what was beautiful, it as inhospitable as possible to the streets people in downtown San Rafael. (New corporate policy allows everyone to use the bathroom as long as they can remember the constantly changing code that unlocks the door! Nice kids working here. Coffee is still the same, sometimes good, sometimes moderate, sometimes really bad. Same snacks. But you know location, location, location...

My youth working here I have a pleasant affinity for this place, regardless of its current times. It's always been great people big coffee tea. One problem I can think about would be the availability of seats by large homeless people who pick up seats and are not customers.

Nostalgic German pancakes. Great atmosphere. Tasty food. And great service.
