Scibilia - SAN PIER NICETO

I chose this place because I went to san pier niceto to explore the family history, and this pizzeria was the next option for eating. we had two pizzas, and both were excellent, every ny pizza I grew up. The...pizza menu is big, maybe 40 to choose. beautiful pretty are the slightly chilled house red wine and the small bowl of oregano to sprinkle the pizza. we came as they opened, but saw how the place gradually fills with natives. simple, authentic atmosphere and good eating a perfect complement to the rustic beauty of the san pier niceto.

The place is nothing special, since it is a hut in the middle of some fields with aluminum apertures, but eating is simply well made with fresh and genuine Sicilian ingredients. we had all the pizzas we were supposed to die for. will definitely visit again...if in Sicily and try other local dishes. a disappointment was gloomy. they had only cream brulee or ice or fruit. on the cold january evening you visited a warm/hot desert.

We didn't expect much to dinner because there's a lot of competition in the region. the waiters were patient with our broken Italians. the muscheln vongole in garlic butter were tender and heavenly. if they are in pier niceto, they need to check this. or take the whole place.

Conosco questo posto da 25 anni. nel tempo è sempre tenuto a buon livello, l'ottima pizza, il personale amichevole e il piero uno dei camerieri veterani, è un buon intrattenitore, insympathetic e amichevole.
