Costa Hermosa - San Pedro Mixtepec

Place like these are why they come to South Mexico! the personal was incredibly friendly; the camarones alguachiles may have been the best dish that I had on the beach everywhere; and I was even invited to know the staff, including the tina, the...prorietor, and a series of natives that were fed there. I can't say enough how enjoyable it was to enjoy some food and drinks along with friendly locals, and the opportunity to do this in such an authentic situation. they are places and experiences that make them come back.

To dinner. great location on the beach. the menu is very difficult to read and the restaurant is very dark. we had 4 small simple bark tacos without garnishes and a beer cost 190 pesos for two. the waiter showed he wasn't interested. very poor service.

We wanted to relax and have a late lunch and dinner on the beach. we parked and went down to the beach and there it was costa hermosa! many customers, but not crowded. my idea of perfection, if I don't know anything about it. we welcome immediately, not as tourists who are to be carried. the owner sat near where we chose our place and was friendly, without being intrusive. he sent us an appetizer of mahi mahi (dorado) that was excellent. we followed that with the enamorado we shared. it was spectacular. then we split a shrimp roast that was delicious! I recommended costa hermosa.

Este restaurant está ubicado frente al mar en Playa Marinero y es atendido por sus propietarios que son excelentes anfitriones!. Sirven pescados y mariscos deliciosos, un Shasimi y un atún sellado exquisitos. Y no deje de pedir las ricas camarón islas y el ceviche de dorado que son exquisitos!.

A lovely location right on the beach and perfect to watch the sunset. The food here is very average, slapped on a plate - the chefs don't take pleasure in their jobs. We've eaten here three times hoping each visit might improve - to no avail. The waiting staff are very unfriendly and visibly unhappy. On the last occasion our order came out wrong but they would not rectify it... we asked for Chicken Fajitas but ended up with french fries! Don't waste your money eating here - we certainly won't be returning!
