Metxcalli - San Pedro Mixtepec Distr

We found the restaurant to be nice, but not exceptional. The burger we tried was a bit dry and lacked flavor with only three basic ingredients. The prices were high compared to other places in Mexico/Puerto Rico, and the atmosphere was not welcoming or enjoyable.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and the location is beautiful. The prices are not high, but the service is excellent. They offer a full page of vegan options on the menu. I absolutely loved the gourmet tamalite balls - they were delicious! The bananenbrot dessert wasn't my favorite, but my dad, who is not vegan, really enjoyed his meal. Great experience overall!

There is an entire section of the menu dedicated to vegan main courses at this restaurant. I tried the Chickpea-Tofu Burger and was extremely impressed. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had, and it came with a side of potato wedges and a salad. To my surprise, I was also served corn tortillas, various dips, and a sorbet drink, as this is standard practice here. The rooftop terrace is stunning. My meal cost $200 pesos, and it was delicious.

We visited this restaurant a few nights in September and each evening was just as fantastic as the last! The service was excellent, the location was perfect, and the menu offered a wide variety of delicious options for everyone. In addition, they had amazing cocktails and desserts.
