The atmosphere seems to be driven by profit rather than genuine hospitality. My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, as the food was not anything special and the overall vibe felt cold. There are plenty of other dining options in San Pedro that go above and beyond to provide a memorable meal, so I would recommend trying those instead.
I ordered a dish of rice noodles with vegetables, similar to a vegan pad thai, and it was a total winner - a generous portion with a tasty sauce and a delicious mix of flavors! The menu also had other vegetarian and vegan options. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and attentive, although some seemed a bit forgetful (we asked for water and extra sauce but never received them). The interior was beautiful, with a good selection of wines and beers (including some from Chile, although not from the Atacama region), and the prices were moderate. The restaurant stayed open late.
Even if a sign outside said they had vegan options the person in the door said they had no, and the waiter gave us only the opportunity to have the falafel plate without the yogurt sauce (after we asked about the sauce itself). the falafel would probably have been with a soße in order, but I would not recommend a vegan to go here. they seem to have had more options before, as older comments say. the potatoes were good.
Terra, all natural. Open late, which is a plus, located on the main strip and easy to locate. I tried the spaghetti with bolognese (soy meat) and found it very delicious and filling. The watermelon juice was delightful, and my vegetarian boyfriend enjoyed the chocolate milkshake. The next day, I had the house salad and guacamole taco, which turned out to be two tortillas overflowing with tasty guacamole! On my next visit, I ordered two side dishes - white rice and wok vegetables cooked in soy sauce. It was heavy on the soy sauce but I loved the mild Asian flavor. The server on our first night was very helpful, although we had to wait to be seated (not sure if it's self-seating when busy). He gave us the set menu and when I asked about vegetarian options, he explained in Spanish and asked if I ate cheese. I explained I was vegan, and he recommended the printed menu over the daily special. Luckily, he was able to communicate in English that the spaghetti with soy meat had vegan ingredients. The service can be slow when busy, and it may seem like they forget about you, but just try to get a server's attention as they are very nice.
They can have a pro-forma/fig-leave vegan dish, but only to their business can also extend to these niches its animal-based restaurant, which is operated by greed, sets its efficiency before gas friendship or otherwise something. It's been a long time since I wasn't so bad and cold. no special food. many other places in san pedro, which go to great engths to offer a beautiful meal, they go there instead.
