Bonello's New York Pizza - San Pedro

The food here is excellent! As someone from the East Coast, I can say that the pizza is fantastic, and the torpedo sandwich is also impressive. Don't miss the Happy Roll, which is their take on a calzone and a house specialty. If you're in the area and love pizza, you definitely need to stop by—you'll truly enjoy the food!

This restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. However, one downside is that they don't always answer their phone calls, and there's no option for online ordering. This means you have to place your order in person and wait, which can be challenging if you're on a tight schedule during lunchtime. I tried calling in my order since 11 AM, but I couldn't get through, which makes it feel like they have enough customers and don't need to accommodate those who are short on time. I truly love their food, but unfortunately, many of us simply can't afford to order in person and wait with the lunch crowd.

They serve the best pizza in all of Southern California, and I can't recommend their meatball happy roll highly enough. They also offer a chicken version if you're not into meatballs. The only downside is that they're incredibly addictive, so be prepared to crave them frequently after you try one!
