La Flor del Cafe - SAN PATRICIO

The food is great. Huge sandwiches and a great breakfast. What beats all the other restaurants in town is the incredible, friendly service. They always have a sincere smile on their face as they wait on your table. You just feel joy in this place.

Think of a Mexican Style Starbucks, with lovely Mexican flavor. Great service a Cappuccinos. It really feels like an Oasis.

The restaurant is very modern looking (with great a/c with some interesting art and the menu is a bit different with a wider variety of options than the standard items that seem to be on every menu, at least at the beach restaurants. I had a cesar salad that was pretty good, and there were many options for sandwiches and salads (cobb salad, etc. .

We stopped in to La Flor del Cafe to get sandwiches to go made for the plane ride back to reality (sad to leave Melaque). The selection was better than I expected, there were lots of bread choices.. Panini, baguette, bread, croissant etc. Then add a delicious filling and what you get is a huge sandwich . I had the Hawaiian ham pineapple cheese red pepper lettuce sprouts onion...it was big enough to make it 2 meals.! Well done La Flor! I haven 't found a sandwich that good in all of Canada. We will definitely be back!

We’ve dined here often for breakfast. Favourite is their Mexican omelet that comes with a selection of thinly sliced fresh fruit. Add a cappuccino and it’s a ‘to die for’ start to the day. Service is friendly and coffee comes fairly quickly, as it should at breakfast.
