Bidrage med feedbackWe have eaten at this restaurant for over 15 years. The food is consistently the same and you can recommend the food here any day. The battered, deep fried prawns are large and crispy. The rice is the best ever and the coleslaw type salad is so fresh. Miso soup complimentary at start of meal. Gyozas, yakisoba, really everything is excellent. Service is friendly although sometimes slow. Price is a bit high for this area but totally worth it.
A brilliant fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine. Hands down the best restaurant in the area. My new go to restaurant!
Friends who have lived in Barra de Navidad for over 20 years told us Kai Murasaki is one of their favorite restaurants in the Barra Melaque area. Kai serves Japanese themed foods and our table of four enjoyed the plump pork potstickers, the chicken teriyaki, the fish teriyaki and the yakisoba noodles with chicken. The small garden style seating area is very welcoming, shaded by tall bamboo which adds to the Asian mood. The yakisoba came with a lot of stir fried vegetables. A complementary bowl of a light soup was served to each of us to start the lunch. Very good Japanese in Melaque. We will return soon!
Clean, friendly, wonderful bilingual service, good food. Good helping size. Not the usual clump of sticky rice nicely enfused with veggies. Delicious potstickers, miso soup and spring rolls. I was told the potato salad is the best anywhere, but they had none today. Desserts looked great but no room. Must go back to try their curry and other dishes on the menu.
We are fortunate to have Goro and Junko cooking for us in Villa Obregón. You can't go wrong with any of their offerings. Sometimes the preparation can take some time, so if you are in a hurry call your order in before you go. Pleasant garden setting with some awesome bambu.
