Salecito Cafe - San Miguel de Allende

Un lugar muy agradable. Con atención muy cálida y amable. El café muy bueno. Recomiendo especialmente el chocolate caliente.

Cerca de la plaza principal, muy cómodo, el pan dulce y el café están deliciosos, los precios son razonables.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I tried to enjoy New Year's Eve at this restaurant and it was a big mistake. This will be a long review as I was very disappointed. After we made the reservation and paid for the dinner we were told to arrive after 10 to receive dinner at 10:30. We arrived at 10:15 and had to wait in the street until 10:45 to be seated. At 11:15 we finally received our salads. With the service being as slow as it was we informed the staff to wait for the main course as we wanted to go to the square to celebrate the new year. After returning from the square two of us found our food sitting at the table already cool. 20 min later the other two plates came to the table. When the dinner plates were picked up the staff was informed to wait for desert but 2 min later the desert arrived for 2 people which was a brownie and what appeared to be a red sauce. It wasn't until 20 minutes later when the other two received their desert that we realized the red sauce was supposed to be ice cream. All of this passed with a grain of salt until the waitress came to count our drinks that we all had thought were included in the already overpriced meal. When questioned she went for the manager. After telling the manager how terrible the service/food/ atmosphere were and that I would not pay his restaurant any more money he threatened to call the police. He offered a discounted ticket since no one stated that the water was extra. After reviewing the "discounted " ticket there were additional items added that we did not order. We paid these criminals to avoid jail but Do NOT EAT HERE!!!

Fuimos sólo a tomar café lechero y acabamos pidiendo pan de elote bañado con un poco de chocolate y rompo pe. Delicioso

Realmente creo que este restaurante refleja una mala administración por parte de los dueños. El servicio fue pésimo, tuve que levantarme para llamar la atención de la mesera que estaba chateando. Cuando llegué, nadie me recibió. Decidí ordenar un jugo de zanahoria, pero me dijeron que no tenían. Luego pedí un plato de frutas y tampoco tenían. Por último, ordené unas enchiladas suizas y me dijeron que no tenían salsa. ¡Qué tipo de lugar es este con una excelente ubicación, un local espacioso y un buen café! Sería mejor que cerraran y le dieran la oportunidad a otro concepto. Para colmo, cuando intenté dejar mi comentario en Tripadvisor, el lugar ni siquiera aparece. Creo que esto lo dice todo.
