Hank's New Orleans Cafe & Oyster Bar

Loved the bar and the strong drinks but after visiting the men’s rest room and reading this extremely offensive poster I would not return until it’s removed. Hello! It’s 2022

I had luck coming back to san miguel de allende after many years. it still holds the attraction to be one of the most beautiful cities in mexiko and remains the center of the art world for many people, a crowd. while we were looking for something else in san miguel and we found it in hanks new orleans restaurant. located directly on the road from the main square and the cathedrale – this place seems to be too good to be true. the food was authentic and plentiful. the service could not be better. we enjoyed garnel, oysters and new Orleans-style meattrove – yes! meattrove. everything was cooked to perfection and some of the best food they can imagine. do not miss this piece of jewellery during the land – yes, they are in mexiko to experience mexiko, but each time they need a break and this place is the place to do exactly that!

Fuimos a cenar con mi familia. Esperamos tanto tiempo para comer y encontramos la peor hamburguesa de México. La carne fue comprada en Walmart. Debería dar vergüenza tener un chef que haga comida tan mediocre.

We went out of curiosity. It is just like Rick's Bar. 98% of the patrons were American. We (3) got just as happy hour was just finishing and ordered margaritas. 6 arrived at the table!! The waitress was all alone and extremely hard working with...an amazing attitude. By the time we got there most of the patrons had a good buzz on. I would not go back because it is not really why I go to Mexico but it was interesting.

Una de las mejores "Horas Felices" de SMA: De 5 a 8pm, casi todo al 2x1. El ambiente es ecléctico, mayormente extranjeros mayores, pero llega de todo y se convierte en un zoológico simpatiquísimo, con música de los 80s y 90s, blues, jazz, rock, principalmente. No dejes de probar el menú, la sopa de cebolla es exquisita!
