Fish and Chips is legit with the tasty batter and soft meaty fish. Karaoke is great!

Friendly local pub. Good priced drinks and easy going bartenders. Good place to have a conversation. I haven't tried the food but people seemed to like it.

Nice little hidden pub. The fish and chips were good. So was the beer.

Cute bar, good prices, very nice staff. One word of warning: there are no vegan main options. If you're looking for food with your beer eat elsewhere first before you come.

An absolute gem of a watering hole in San Mateo. Me and my team's absolute go to for cocktails, whether happy hour or late night, to blow off steam after a busy day. The staff is amazing, the ownership is local and involved. Do not miss this place if you're looking for a great place to hang. Oh, and the fish and chips are absolutely legit! Probably the best on the peninsula, and I'm not exaggerating.
