Krispy Krunchy Chicken - San Mateo

I love Krispy Krunch! Ordered from here a couple times before and was great. Seems to be a change in recipes. Chicken, Mac (it even looked different) and mashed potatoes did not taste right like it normally does.

Chicken is undercooked, not crispy and overly salty. I would not consider this Cajon at all. all of the food is just overly salty. would not order

Everything we ordered—an 8-piece mix and large wedge fries—was delicious and offered great value. The portion of large wedge fries is generous enough for two people, or a good serving for two adults and a child. The seasoning was flavorful with a Cajun twist, though not overly spicy. I typically prefer dark meat, and it was juicy and crispy, just as I like it. However, what really impressed me was the chicken breast. It was exceptionally juicy (which isn’t always the case at other places), crispy, and it seemed like Krispy Krunchy might inject it with hot sauce because it had a well-seasoned and mildly spicy flavor throughout. I would definitely choose this place over the larger fried chicken chains, and their prices are similar.

If you're not in the mood for crispy chicken, this is the place to visit. The chicken is consistently undercooked. The only highlight is their Honey Butter Biscuit, which is really good.

The dish had too much rice and not enough beans, regardless of whether I ordered the large or small size.
