Bidrage med feedbackWhy did they close!!!!!! They had an amazing baked alaska. Sad times! They also had really great food.
So sad that this beautiful restaurant closed. This was one of the best places in downtown San Mateo.
Came here for a late weekday lunch, and the food was delicious! We got the Chile relleno, short rib tamal, chicken enchiladas, and corn dip. The tortillas seem to be made in house and are quality.
Great food and service. Happy hour cocktails were great taste for great price
Oh my goodness!! Mom and I came here while she was visiting me and she said it was the best Mexican food she's ever had in her life. She called her friends and told them the same thing. It was deliciously fantastic! Mom loved her chicken mole enchiladas and could not say enough nice things about the sauce. She was also a huge fan of the beans and rice, but especially the beans. Normally, mom eats half her meal and takes the other half home to enjoy later. Not this time. Those beans didn't have a chance. My meal was exceptional as well. I ordered a burrito that came with a nice half and half sauce, but asked for a side of enchilada red sauce because I like my burrito to swim! If you like that too, then I highly recommend asking for a side sauce. It really highlighted the blend of flavors in the burrito. Now, anyone who knows me knows how I adore chili rellenos. To me, they are one of those treasure hunts that takes you through unknown territory before finding just the right jewel. Baby, this chili relleno is it!! Words cannot describe how truly delightful of an experience it was nibbling away at the finest chili relleno I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I could eat these for breakfast, lunch and dinner! So goooooooodddd!! I love that they still have outdoor seating at their intimate sidewalk tables with the cutest table cloths. Head over for some delicious food and don't forget about Happy Hour!!
