This place is to die for absolutely one of the best catering trucks out there hands down Lou has been doing this business for many years and understands not only the art of barbecue but customer service as well I recommend Lous Bbq place 10 stars

The best BBQ you will ever eat all of the sides are freshly homemade and delicious! The best Italian sausage!!! Ribs, tritip, pulled pork, chicken it's all the best!! Must try!

This is such a lucky find for me tucked on the side of Monterey Highway right outside of a local batting cage facility and a soccer field. When you first pull up, there are plenty of signs that direct you to the catering truck. The staff greets you in an inviting yet not too assertive way. The owner (Lou? is head chef and is manning the BBQ pits. Several customers line up patiently to put in orders for their homestyle BBQ meals. The prices are very fair for the portions they put together, and the menu selection is nothing short of impressive. I ordered (3 three 'Super Family Packs ' which included: 3 full racks of BBQ pork ribs (you could ask for more BBQ sauce on the side 3 pounds of pulled pork and tri tip 3 large potato salads 3 large chilli beans (packed with meat! 24 pieces of BBQ chicken (legs and thighs 3 loafs of garlic bread Portions were more than enough, and our group loved everything. One friend asked for Lou 's number because he will be ordering from him for a future event. Fun fact: the owner shared that he 's been in this business for over 25 years it makes sense because the homestyle BBQ cooking is certainly dialed in! I 'll definitely be back!

This place offers the best BBQ in all of South County! Unfortunately, the new owners of the property where the truck was located have kicked everyone out, including Lou's truck and the batting cages. However, Lou still does catering. I really hope he finds a new location soon because his BBQ is fantastic!

This fantastic BBQ truck is hidden away next to a soccer field. Without Yelp, I might have missed this little gem! It’s definitely a must-visit. Just keep in mind that they aren't open every day, so be sure to check their hours on Yelp. The food is absolutely finger-licking good!
