Bidrage med feedbackHad to change my review after my second visit, I asked about rice and beans as my side for my dinner, but I got rice and vegetables, first time ever going to Tom's and despite the wait in not disappointed the least. The menu is massive burger breakfast steak dinner burritos, massive. After I went through the options, I finally landed on a lamb hack dinner I choose rice and beans as my side it came with a salad and some butter bread. Every bite was delicious. And the whole meal was very full. Definitely back to try something else than next.
This is one of those true old tyme diners not a fancy stylized diner like Ruby's. The food is basic but well portioned and high quality. Coffee is excellent. Prices are reasonable for families or those on a budget. Service is excellent. It can be busy at mealtimes. The steak was tender. However the biscuits and gravy were oddly flavorless. Other items were excellent.
The hamburgers had a tasty flavor, the fries as will. But the chicken strip were a bit disappointing, they were small in sizes for the price of 1.99 each.
Great service, great food, clean and inexpensive meals. Try the steak, so soft and delicious. Worth the drive from south county.
After a long night of work, we hit TOM's for a bite to eat. We both ordered Omelets which were very delicious. One of my favorites at TOM's has to be the Pastrami Burger...awesome!!
