San Marcos Bbq

The BBQ here is excellent, and one of the unique services I truly appreciate is that they allow you to bring your own meat, which they will cook for you on their pits for a small fee. The staff was incredibly accommodating this weekend, even though they were busy getting ready for all the Thanksgiving orders coming up next week. A big thank you to the owner, Justin, and to Eric for helping me achieve a great cook on some pigs!

San Marcos BBQ catered a corporate event for us on July 12th, and we were thoroughly impressed. The chicken, ribs, and brisket were all excellent—just as a previous reviewer noted, they truly don’t need any sauce. The mac 'n' cheese was also a hit!

BBQ! The brisket, sausage, potatoes, and coleslaw were fantastic. My wife had the same meats along with green beans and cabbage. We both agreed that it was some of the best BBQ we've ever experienced!

Great! This is our way to the barbecue area. Great friendly staff and their food is Delish!!! Go from San Antonio to San Marcos for this place. People swear at Blacks or other BBQ places in the area, but this is definitely true. Really well made grill and definitely recommend.

Both locations are great! I personally prefer the I35 location since it's more convenient and I love the drive thru option. I love everything on their menu. Their brisket and turkey are my favorite. We actually buy our holiday turkey from them every year! Friendly service and reasonable prices.
