Pho Tran88 - San Marcos

It can be really difficult to find good Asian food in San Marcos, but after several disappointing meals from other places, we finally found this restaurant and were very pleased! The Pho Veg was outstanding, the General Tso Chicken had great flavor but could have used more spice, and the Hot and Sour soup was quite tasty. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so we opted for takeout, but we will definitely be ordering from here again!

I love their food, it’s really good but their customer service is the worst. I have been a loyal customer since the moment they opened. The owner is rude and doesn’t care about the customer experience at all.

I attempted to place a takeout order and read a menu item, but the person taking the order made me feel foolish. I explained that I was unfamiliar with the menu since I was not from the area, but she just laughed. This will be the first and last time I order from this restaurant. Professionalism is key, and she clearly lacked it.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I brought my parents here for a meal, but I should have taken them to Taiwan Bowl instead. The server was very rude and unpleasant. Some of my mother's chicken was overcooked, and when we mentioned it, the server argued with us and was dismissive. Eventually, she reluctantly agreed to replace the dish with something else. I was disappointed by the bad service, especially given the high rating of the restaurant. The food was just average, not deserving of the nearly 5 star score. I advised my parents not to leave a tip, even though they wanted to. In conclusion, don't bother coming here. The servers are unfriendly and the food is mediocre. Visit Don Japan Kitchen or Taiwan Bowl for delicious food and excellent service instead.

This General Tso’s chicken is one of the tastiest I’ve ever had!Great prices!Clean and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating and very close to the San Marcos square.I definitely recommend this place.
