The service here is consistently excellent. The owner and his son are fantastic. They always accommodate my needs, and even cashing a check is inexpensive.

Be very cautious before dining here. I tried to pay with a check, and the young gentleman behind the counter gave me a skeptical look. The check had a big, bold name on it, but when I handed it to him, he said, "We only accept local checks." I explained that the check is from Long Beach, where I work, but he still refused it. It's frustrating, as I had just gone to San Marco's market on Ranchero and expected better service. Think twice before coming here to buy anything, especially if you plan to pay with a check that isn't local; it’s quite ridiculous.

The restaurant closed earlier than expected, but thankfully, we had just the right amount of cash on hand.

Be careful of what you purchase. I went in a hurry and was sold an expired cookie.. 6 months past expiration date.

Love the owners of this place. So friendly and helpful as well as pretty cool in general.
