We had our best restaurant meal in San felipe. my man tried the cocos yarn and was thrilled. I had the mixed seafood cocktail and it was delicious. the otopus, snuggle and garnel were all delicate and tasty.
This is a cross-border star restaurant. we had an early dinner here and the restaurant was full. but we had excellent food. we had the little garnel meatballs (can not remember the names), chipolte garnelen in mushroom sauce, and spicy pulpo (octopus). the service was. a little slow because he was overcrowded, but that was okay. they brought us a clam appetizer (no fee), which was very good.
Was over to foot and stayed at lunch after recognizing the name of trip advisor reviews. we were not disappointed. hubby had steak and garnel. what was added to his surprise was in speck. that came with sides of baked potato, rice and small charalate. I had. a combination of chili relleno and taco dorado with sides of rice and bean and a bit of salad. everything was delicious. I was very surprised how fresh the salad viggars tasted and the chipotle type dressing on the top was delicious. average driving for above average eating.
This trip we are trying restaurants we haven't been to before, so Chuy's was on the list. Very friendly staff and good service. The Fajitas were excellent, Mexican Combo was good, and burgers were tasty. Free Clam appetizer was a nice touch. All in all...a very good experience-and cheaper that Mickie D's in the US.
