Tacos El Tizon 3 - San Luis Obispo

The al pastor, tripas, and buche tacos were fantastic. However, the carnitas were a bit dry and needed more flavor. The drinks were delightful—fresh and homemade. I had the piña and can’t wait to try the horchata next. I really appreciated the salsa bar, which allows you to add as much or as little as you like, along with a great variety of salsas. I highly recommend the creamy green and the dark red salsas. I would have enjoyed having some chips to snack on while waiting.

Overpriced and tasteless .. sorry this is not authentic Mexican cuisine .

I had the chile verde platter, and it was fantastic! I definitely plan to return.

Some of the only authentic pastor you’ll get in SLO county. Really flavorful (although a tiny bit too salty). Salsa is also really good. Taco Tuesday specials make this place a no brainer.

I had been to this place a time or two and had a generally positive impression, one of the sites I service for work is near hear, and for some reason when I want a burrito for lunch, I end up going the Taco-bell down the street, which is a particularly bad Taco-Bell... I sit there wondering why I don't just go to that Mexican Restaurant down the street. When I do come here, I remember why.The burritos are Huge they are also tasty, which wouldn't be a bad thing on it's own if not for my situation whenever I'm there, which is that I am not anywhere near refrigerator where I could put my leftovers.The prices aren't bad for the amount of food you get, but rather than a giant $12 burrito, I wish I could buy a $7 burrito that is half the size.
