Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop San Luis Obispo

The pickles here are sooooo good! My husband always talks about his sandwich.

I ordered sandwiches for myself and two coworkers. When I spoke with the server over the phone, I distinctly told her that I only wanted meat and bread for my sandwich. When I opened my sandwich up, it had melted cheese on it, therefore making my sandwich unable to eat. I ended up giving it to another coworker. I called and told the person that answered the phone what happened. I have her the order takers name and said that I was highly allergic to many things including cheese. She said-quite rudely-I?ll be sure to tell the person? and hung up on me. I emailed corporate about this but it?s been almost two weeks now and I haven?t heard a word nor has my card been credited. I won?t order here again.

Mr. Pickles is on the higher end of the pricing scale, and for the money I'd prefer someplace like Ike's Love and Sandwiches. They weren't bad, but there are better and cheaper options out there. Service was friendly, and I appreciated the free chocolate chip cookie that came with the sandwich. *We were camping in the area when I tried them and I spent most of the night fighting a bout of nausea, so admittedly my review may be a little prejudiced. It may or may not have been coincidence.

While I was eating the big Jake, I gave it a 5.. but now as I think back, I believe a 4 is more deserving. The wheat bread was good. I like the banana peppers they put in, it added a lot of extra flavor. There was cream cheese AND mayo; which I regret answering yes to everything? I think I would have taken out the mayo, personally. I got the whole, didn 't finish it, saved the rest, had it for dinner... and it wasn 't that great. I dont know what I was expecting though, for a 3-4 hour old sandwich. Think next time I 'd be better with a half. Would love to go back and try something else. The sandwich I had was good. Eat it fresh though.

I?ve only been here twice but each time has been amazing. The sandwiches here are absolutely amazing I would recommend one but they are all honestly amazing. I highly recommend getting a pickle while you are here.
