Efren's San Luis Obispo

The food at this restaurant is tasty, but I couldn't help but notice that the portion sizes have gotten smaller. Additionally, they now charge for salsa which used to be complimentary if you dined in. I also ordered a hamburger which was supposed to come with fries according to the menu description, but this time the fries were missing.

Generous portions. Flavorful. Loved the shrimp and birria Special Meats Tacos. Guacamole Chips was fantastic!!

Just had taco salads. Outstanding taste and fresh ingredients! Nice salsa/chip bar. Highly recommend.

Very delicious enchiladas tacos and meatballs, their restaurant is one of my favorites in the whole San Luis Obispo County.

I judge restaurants based on how busy they are when they are open, and this one is always bustling. I highly recommend trying out their menu, especially their Guacamole Chips and California Fries, which are delicious and served in generous portions. Door Dash delivers their food well, and any location on the central coast will serve up some tasty Mexican comfort food along with a couple of Coronas.
