Farroteca Monterosso

A Sunday of September we stayed at dinner at the Monterosso farroteca using with groupon. It was actually the second time (we were years ago in group) and as in last lunch service and food were great! fast and friendly service! we will return to the next occasion

Magnificent place, where you can eat excellent homemade dishes, well realized and the genuine goto. seasoned by an excellent local wine. reasonable prices for food quality! Congratulations

Great discovery, great menu, great service despite being in group of compliments to the owner who with great passion guides a competent and helpful female team. lovely location and dishes! We will definitely come back!

I discovered this place casually looking on the internet for a local that would make aperitif in the San lorenzo area in the field. I learn, from the facebook site, that Friday is served a reinforced apericena, but being Wednesday, I call to know if in the week something is expected. the lady, very kind, explains to me that that evening they would have made a “normal” apericena that previewed two choices: one to euro with spelt salad, bruschette, roasted pear, cheeses with honey and jam a spriz or glass of wine or one from with medesime courses and in addition sliced and oranges. opto for the first accompanied by a small red. I was pleasantly surprised by the goodness of every single element of the dish; also the tomato bruschetta, which apparently may seem like a simple dish, was really delicious because the quality of raw materials is exceptional. the piadina, delicate and pleasant the spelt salad. perhaps the dish was not particularly abundant, but very satisfying for the goto. I asked if there was wine in the visciole, with cookies, to close the meal and I was satisfied with nice tozzetti al farro (for those who did not understand it the local is called pheroteca because the dishes are made of lighthouse, served in a very pleasant outdoor location, for € recommended.

Nice location, good food, the cut was a bit cold, service ok, prices in the average.
