Galvan's Market - San Leandro

I was craving a big delicious sandwich with who knows what on it, I decided to stop by this little shop and was outdone with the selection of meat and cheese they have. I told the guy that I wanted a delicious sandwich and HE DID NOT FAILLLLL!!!! This was the best sandwich ive ever had in my life. They cut the meat right in front of you and the portions are huge. I got full off of one half. This my new go to sandwich and meat spot. Absolutely worth every cent!

Ground beef was great! Around an 80/20 mix and made perfect burgers!Sweet Italian sausage was also delicious, but I could have done with about 30% less salt. Great flavor otherwise.Solid prices for these two items. Will come back.

This is my go to spot for high quality meat and super friendly service. This is a couple cities over from me but I make the trip because I can’t find the same quality with this great of a selection.You can’t beat seeing familiar faces that are very knowledgeable about their offerings and give suggestions on how to prepare. I’ve gotten tri tip, prime rib, ham, corned beef among the many other items they offer. You can’t go wrong and will find what you need here for special occasions or everyday meals. They have seasoning, sauces and other items that can help complete the meal too.They also have a deli and their sandwiches so good! Definitely worth a lunch stop.There is no seating for eating in, so more like grab and go but they do have parking which is very convenient.

Smell like in ….. probably in a very traditional butchery. Meet is good. Choice is good

One of those 'for what it is ' reviews. This is a small scale grocer and butcher shop. So, lots of meat, impressive cheese assortment, and some select pastas, sauces, etc. sort of on the side, they 'll make you a sandwich. No silly names like Ike 's, and no crazy toppings assortment like Subway. It 's a sandwich, generous on the meat, which you can watch them cut freshly. Going from four to five stars mostly on the strength of some chill but friendly staff guys.
