This is a fun little place hidden away in the Washington Manor neighborhood. It's a good place to stop for Chinese BBQ. There is a good variety of foods. The chicken wing was the size of my forearm and the beef stew was pretty tasty. I'd recommend it for anyone in the mood for this type of food that doesn't want to drive out to San Jose or Fremont/Newark
We arrived at this place for a meeting. we heard about this place from many people. Well, it was a winning. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.
Order wise and ask questions. If you want to get filled up then order the entrees like the rice and noodles. We ordered the Singaporean style noodles and it was excellent. The skewers alone will not fill you up. The menu doesn’t even list how many pieces are in each skewer. For example, I ordered the shrimp and also the oyster among other things. When they came to our table there was only one of each. And they don’t come cheap $3.50 for one oyster. So you get the idea. A word of advice: do not order the chicken cartilage. It’s tough to the point of being inedible. Cartilage is only good if it’s cooked tender. The chef failed to do that. Flavor wise everything tasted good. However, an hour after eating I felt quite thirsty. Not sure if it was the effect of too much salt or MSG. I didn’t order any drinks so can’t give you a review of that. Overall , service was good. The girls were attentive and friendly. The mood was good. The place was clean. And the chairs we comfortable. During busy hours you may not be able to find parking on the premises. There are also other businesses that compete for spaces.
Wowow. Honestly, wow. Who knew that if you put something on a skewer and added the right spices, it’d be this fire?! Tbh, we could’ve gone without the green beans and doubled up on the chives and okra instead! Literally, who knew that chives and okra could be this good? Haha. We were shook. The seafood skewers were delish. Others were right. Get the cloaker fish. And chives. Don’t forget the chives. The fried rice is pretty bland, but works bc the skewers are saltier. Balanće! Haha. All in all, a def go-backer. Cleanliness and service were top notch. 5 stars.
