Casa Oro Eco Hostel - San Juan del Sur

The worst experience of my life. All staff hateful to my friends. They insulted us and treated us badly. We went to breakfast and he didn't want to take our orders, the staff of the place spoke badly to us and didn't even want to serve us.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Me and my traveling buddy show up late night at 11pm with a reservation the night shift guy says he can't help us check in cause he does not know how to do it and that we have to come back in the morning to talk to the front desk that he's just the security so i had to find another place walking around with 2 surfboards and 2 back packs each! When we show up in the morning they say the $13 dorm we booked with A/C is now full and they only have a Non-A/C dorm and we have to pay the same price! So I asked for my money back instead and they sayed they can not refund me because it! Was done thru Hostelworld and not in cash and there boss won't let them! So they took $26 dollars from both of us without even stepping into the lobby or even get the wifi password! I Highly Recommend Not to get Robbed by this place they're THIEFS!!!

The rooms need a bit of improvement, but in general the place is great. Incredible relation price/quality. Decent breakfast included

Relaxed atmosphere. Rooftop for excersice or an open air rave. The $13 dorm includes breakfast.

There is a guy who works there who comes across a little rude and hostile... In a hostel you have to have friendly and helpful staff. Also the fans are inadequate and the rooms are so hot. Nothing to like about this place!
