Line Camp Steakhouse - San Juan County

The restaurant is no longer a steakhouse - it has been turned into an Airbnb with a few guest rooms. It is an amazing place to stay, equipped with everything you need, such as a commercial kitchen, BBQ, fire pit, coffee machine, and more. The decor is charming and we wish we had known about it sooner so we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend staying here.

If you're a climber looking for a comfortable bed and a shower, this is the perfect place to stay. My friend and I spent 5 nights here while climbing in Indian Creek (just 20 minutes away) and had a fantastic time. The historic and cozy house was a bit chilly in the living room, but the heaters worked well and we didn't mind wearing our down jackets indoors. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, freezer, microwaves, ovens, and more, although we chose to have our meals in Monticello. Shane, the host, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. He shared the history of the house and his family, and even helped me with sending a parcel to the post office. As Shane would say, it's the closest shower to Indian Creek!
