Rare 125 - San Juan

I liked my experience in rare 125, I ordered the empanadas de filet mignon ropa vieja as an appetizer. the appetizer was my favorite part of my whole meal. it had amazing taste! I have the 6oz file with au poivre sauce on the side. I ordered my steak medium well and it was a little burned on the outside, but I had nothing to do with it. I also have the roasted garlic carrots that were so creamy and good. the personal was so attentive and nurturing and waiting for eating was not long. it was a wonderful experience overall. I would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved and enjoyed our experience at Rare 125. Our server was well informed and helped giving recommendations and pairings. We had the Beef Dumplings to start, Salmon Gnocchi with Parmesan Risotto, and my wife had the 10oz Filet Mignon with Fried Yuca Huancaina and Truffle Mac n Cheese. We tied it all up with the dessert Mil Hojas and an espresso. Great atmosphere and food. You'll be talking about it for days.

Phenomenal place and atmosphere, the waiter Chris was great. The drink selection was by far the best I've had since living here. Not to take away from the drinks, but the steak and mashed potatoes were perfect, not to over the top but just perfect.

My group of 8 barely had time to take photos of our food. The food here is just that good. From the appetizers to the main courses, you will not be disappointed. I personally recommend the Beef Mac N Cheese. The best Mac N Cheese I've had in my life. I'll come back to PR just for this dish. Enjoy!

We stopped for a late lunch on the patio. It was great! The eggplant with black bean sauce could have used a little more seasoning, but the empanadas, pulpo, dumplings, and tuna tartar were great. And the drinks...so good!
