Bidrage med feedbackWe ate here on July 4th 2023! We loved the steaks the best we had! And the bread was delicious and the drinks were amazing too. Try the lavender cosmo and lemon spritz I think. Everything was above expectations. Wonderful service. Elegant ambiance. Never felt rushed. We ate slowly and enjoyed our experience. We even got a free new bread packed to go at the end courtesy of our waiter since we loved it so much. Definitely worth a try if you're staying in the Caribe hotel.
Oh my! Where do I start.....today me, my dad, and my sister ate here for our last night in Puerto Rico. The restaurant is so nice and the servers are the kindest people. The views are amazing the drinks are divine. Our first night we ate at a VERY pricy steak house and honestly compared to here, the other restaurant was a RIP OFF. I grub a dub dubed on my baked potato! But this dinner was so nice and really good for our last night. If you want a fancy and good dinner restaurant..... save yourself the time and come here!!! My favorite part was probably when my sister exclaimed she would love to take a bath in their blue cheese steak sause! What a silly gooose! If you are a creative person! Imagine her in a bath with blue cheese sause and a nice juicy steak in each hand!!
My wife and I were ready to enjoy an excellent dining experience while stopping over in Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, this was not it. We had reservations but we're told to sit and wait while others appeared and were seated what's the point of making the reservation? The dress code states business casual, but many were dressed in shirts, shorts and tennis shoes again, what's the point of a dress code I can be as casual as the next guy, but we dressed for a nice experience. OK, now the food the filet mignon was tasteless. $50 for an 8 oz piece of meat with no flavor was disappointing to say the least. The sides were OK. We're I you, I'd pass on Morton's and go for a local experience.
The food went beyond expectation. The French onion soup was delightful, both salads were fresh and crispy, scallops were amazing and served with a chutney that was very flavorful and a great accent to the dish. The New York strip steak was one of the best that I've had! Very tender served Au Jus.... I added a side of béarnaise sauce that was excellent!! Smoked Gouda cheese Augratin Potatoes were perfect! Our server, Edward, did amazing job and had very good product knowledge. It made great recommendations. The entire staff was very hospitable. We did not have a reservation, but we were able to get a nice table. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Dimly lit dining areas And appropriate spacing between tables enabled privacy and comfort. All in all, I would say, this was a very nice dining experience. It was on the higher end of the price scale, but considering all of the economic drives tied to a business like this, I believe that is to be expected. Great job!
The service is awesome here. I enjoyed the sangria (even though it wasn't red), and the fries and onion soup were delicious. The salad, parmesan fries, and the creme brulee were also 5 star meals. The fried onions were okay. The asparagus was cooked well but not very flavorful. The Brussel sprouts weren't cooked to my liking. I like my Brussel sprouts crispy and seasoned with salt and pepper. But they were kind enough to pack some balsamic glaze in the to-go bag so I could season it for a later meal. The ambiance is very classy, which is reflected in the pricing of the meals. It's a nice place for a professional business meeting, a special date night, or a change from the restaurants that serve food on island time.
