Awesome Hotel - San Jose del Monte

We chose a family dinner to allow the children fresh sea air. I saw some negative comments on service from when the hotel reopened Post covid, but fortunately this seems worked out and the staff was moved to good service levels and standards. Food is good, although expensive according to provincial standards but for 5 people we pay less than one meal for one of the equivalent standard in Europe. The fish steak was perfectly grilled and the butterfly shrimps melted in my mouth. The Indian curry was light and full of taste, the Klumpiang was of a high standard and the pizza was thin and crispy and you could taste herbs and oregano. The staff was polite, helpful and the food was served in 25 minutes. I have no complaint. All foods even arrived at the same time.

This is the main restaurant of Awesome Hotel . Beach vibes atmosphere. Daily cuisine offered. But only one la carte, it can wait a long time until your meals arrive. My spouse made a verbal reservation with one of the guards waiting staff and no table was blocked for our group when we arrived. Anyway, we're going to cut on the hunt, it takes time, but I was aware, so I'm going to keep track. Food was international cuisine, mostly Asian, but no regional specialty. It was either a hit or miss. Similar experiences at breakfast, it was an hour waiting, but its ok I liked the food though. The employees are fine, but seemed exhausted with the handling of many customers. A few photos.

If you want a beautiful view of the sea, yes I can recommend this place, but for the service, not at all. We went to an early dinner. The staff was very slow, it wasn't even a busy day. We had to wait almost an hour to get our appetizers and waited more than an hour for our main job just to find out that it was never hit. We had to follow 4x, and the people we talked to did not even say their head. After all, someone told us that our mission was never beaten. The staff needs training for good customer service. We didn't even have a server we could ask. Nobody went to our table to check us out if we need anything. We had to find someone who came by the table. Our glass of water has never been filled again. The restaurant at this hotel does not even deserve a 1-star rating. Improve your service.

The resto is in the new wing with a great view of the sea beach but that's just about it. Service was terribly slow, some of our orders were not even punched in that's what the crew said) and so had to be...served late . It was only because we followed up our orders that we were informed that some were not included in the list punched for our table. Considering only 3 tables were occupied that time we were there 11AM so before lunch and resto is not very busy yet) Management might want to look into this. If not for the warmth and accommodating staff Id really rate this resto terrible as far as service is concerned
