Pitaya Restaurant and Cafe

The food was delicious, innovative, and creative. The service was much better than other places at the Sheraton resort. It is pricey but the view is amazing.

Este es otro restaurante formal del Sheraton en los Cabos. La comida esta realmente buena. Probé un Short Rib de entrada muy bien hecho y la pesca del Día estaba esplédido.

I think this restaurant is spelled incorrectly - it should be Pitahayas (located in the Hacienda del Mar Hotel). Anyway, that is the restaurant I`m reviewing. We had a very good meal there, and the ocean view was quite nice. Our waiter was fine, but his bus boy was obviously lacking in experience. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.

Very romantic location, with good bar and wonderful food. Service top notch. Live entertainment that compliments dinner not overwhelms it.

Skipped this restaurant the last couple of times we were here because reviews did not seem to justify the prices. This time we ate there two nights and loved both the atmosphere and the food. Prices seemed in line with other similar restaurants in the area. I had the tenderloin and lobster which was very good, but my husband had the Salmon with black bean sauce and vanilla mashed potatoes. It was definitely the winner! The second time we ate there, we went for all appetizers and the red lentil soup. All were delicious, a little exotic, and dishes I could never replicate at home. If it's not too busy, ask for a tour of their wine cellar. Would highly recommend this place!
