El Ganzo - San José del Cabo

With a great 5 pieces band that plays our favorites, great view over the harbour, el Ganzo was another great highlight of our trip.

The atmosphere is particularly wonderful on Friday nights when they have a live band at sunset. eating is not impressive and too expensive. it has not even good presentation. our server was not friendly. when we went to pay, we said we were living in san jose, because in this night they offered a discount of 20% for locals. he wanted to see our green cards. we had only photos of them, but he left us up to show his manager who sent us to them by email. the whole experience just made us weird. Overall, I would recommend going on a Friday night and sitting at the fireplace on the couches and drinking only drinks to watch the band. or they have a taco truck that looked good at the weekend.

It was an amazing dinner with my new wife. We are on our honeymoon and we found this amazing place! The maitra d was Jesus and he was most attentive. We enjoyed the cauliflower ceviche (sounds crazy but Amazing), the fish special which was the grouper and the Ganzo shrimp. The whole night was magical. Wine was exceptional.

We were very disappointed by our lunch experience in el wholeo on Sunday. I had picked up a friend from the airport and wanted to treat him to a nice lunch in el Ganzo. I made a reservation and I was not aware that you brunch buffet that ends when we arrived. we were still charged $80 for the buffet, although eating was all gone, we didn't even get served water and had to ask for cute. there was no confirmation from a worker or management that we arrived at the end of the buffet when all the food had gone. that would have been nice. I was in el wholeo, before I live in todos santos and I expected more of these youngs. Unfortunately, if places more about the scene and become less about the quality of the service, it changes the entire experience and makes people feel uncomfortable and unwilling. not to mention $80 for eating that was old and had been eating for hours. this time not impressed.

Beautiful atmosphere excellent food and service. Friendly, helpful staff. Overall a perfect place to dine.
