We had a very nice experience, all of the things we ate where very good. Decor and ambience are modern and elegant, with a classy touch. The restaurant has a free smoke area and an open terrace which is very chic. Service is good and refined. They have a Kids menu, which is great.
Let's start from the end. We scored an unbelievable 1700 MXN (100 euros) for a 1,5 courses service and a glass of wine. This place will offer you anything you want, from meat to fish, from cheese to international specialties. They have a wine list as large as a specialized wine shop. The cheapest bottle of wine costs 400 MXN (25 euro). They must be joking!!We had a glass of Mexican red ine and a rosé. At first smell I wanted to give the red wine back as it smelt of wet dirty cloth. I gave it a chance by facilitating a longer oxigenation. The smell didn't change and it persisted anonimus at taste. This glass of wine was just for 120 MXN! The rose was same experience as you could not tell what it tasted like. Useless! We shared as starters 100 grams oj jamon serrano and a selection of cheese. 100 grams of jamon are for 360 MXN. No, it's not a typo mistake. You got it right! They sell jamon serrano for as much as 3600 MXN (200 euro)/Kg. Now let's talk of the selection of cheese. They should be jailed as the menu anticipates some parmiggiano reggiano (which is protected by a DOP) while what they serve must be some sort of surrogate cheese. Illegal!I have had enough of these restaurants where they promise international gourmet cousine excellence but cannot even deliver the basics! Never again.
