The Elegant Pub - San Jose

This bar is walking distance to our friends new home. We enjoyed watermelon white claw with rum. Bartender was super friendly and funny. Locals were really nice too. Can't wait to try the breakfast and the **** mary next time.

My good friend wanted to see some of her friends play in their Mexican Punk Rock Band, and I said Girl, I am so down! We carpooled over and boy was I surprised!Parking outside wasn 't much of an issue for a busy Saturday night. At the door, we were carded and were let right in. The bar is on the left in the back. They can make most cocktails and have a fair selection of beers on tap. The bartenders are all very friendly. The venue is a little on the older side, but it has character. Wood finishing on some of the booths. The bar is massive and divey. To the right of the entrance is where there is the music venue. It 's a big open space with it 's own restrooms and space to dance. Again, not the most eloquent place, but a fun little venue! The band rocked out and the sound system worked well. The beer and cocktails were made well and the prices didn 't break the bank.Overall: The place itself isn 't quite Elegant, but you 'll have a fun time!

Not great, warm expensive beer.Not a fan If I'm gettin a warm draft beer in a plastic cup I should be watching a sporting event or doing a keg stand at a party. Maybe looking at some college girls titties at least. Nope , no such luck. My first and last time at the elegant pub. I wont be coming back here.I will spend my time and money someplace else. Super chill place to go to during the day or night. Bartenders were really sweet, and the inn next door was converted into a dj/dance area that you can go and dance at. There are booths inside to sit at, and there is food that can be bought but is cash only. Drinks can be bought with card.

Nice cozy little pub We sat in a booth service was excellent staff was very friendly and helpful.
