The Blue Door Restaurant Bar - San Jose

Eating here is amazing. the price is high; about $20-30 for a deer, but the portion sizes are also very large. the pork chops (medium rare) were tender and juicy, until perfection cooked. the interieur is very clean and modern, with a half/casual formal eating feeling. would definitely recommend to anyone interested in American/Mediterranean food.

We have tried the blue door on recommendation of a friend. the waiting time was quite short, not more than five minutes. the decor is really beautiful and really stylish, really uplifted look, although they do not need to enter a warm and tie or evening dress. we ordered the grilled otopus for an appetizer and it was super delicious. for drinks we had her home drink called a blue drop, which is in the grunde blueberry wodka and fresh blueberries, it was delicious that we had a few more. we ordered the grilled salmon and garnel and scallops, they were both amazing. as someone who goes to a lot of seafood restaurants, I could say that this Greek style Mediterranean restaurant is not disappointed when it comes to their grilled salmon. I recommend it.

Our 2nd visit in this facility. the first time was dinner and this time we tried lunch. I like the restaurant decoration. it is very clean and contemporary. I like the idea that lunch and dinner is different, with very different items between the 2 meals time. for lunch they have a pasta court curry chicken mac. ok, I admit I was very hesitant. but our server wyatt recommended this court very much. Now, mr. wyatt, I would like to say thank you. it was delicious. at dinner I tried her medium brazino (sea bass) and my man had short rib palermo. it is worth trying both. I have heard that on Friday 30 Sundays they have kept. try it out. they will be pleasantly surprised.

Order the muscheln, spinatfilo, Mediterranean flat brot and skip the vegan burger (it is bland, falls apart immediately, has a pasty texture). the restaurant ambiente is beautiful, they can certainly go to a date here. the menu is large, with seafood, pork and chicken stable. the wine and drink list is large. they also have a great bar. the service is fast and attentive.

The decor is clean, hip, modern. The background music didn 't match the interior. A little too teen-pop. Otherwise, we had a nice meal. We shared the Spanakopita as an appetizer. It was flaky goodness. I had the organic beet salad with chicken, it was good. My husband had the curry mac 'n cheese- WOW! Perfect blend of cheese, aromatic curry spice and chicken. Had a little kick, but the burn wasn 't lasting. Truly tasty. We also had the hot in pear-a-dise drink- super tasty with nice presentation. They also have a spacious outdoor area, great for happy hour!
