Bidrage med feedbackTo my surprise, EVERY SINGLE TIME, everyone was incredibly nice. The staff were sweet, friendly, courteous, and helpful. It's worth noting that sometimes customers can be rude to restaurant workers. When a staff member has had enough and stands up for themselves, the restaurant unfortunately bears the brunt of any negative, and potentially unfair, reviews. By the way, my friend claims that all sushi tastes pretty much the same to her. Fair enough, but even she was pleasantly surprised by how good the sushi at Sushi Jae was. I completely agree. The rice and fish were perfectly heated—not refrigerator cold—and incredibly fresh and beautiful. I also appreciate the low-sodium soy sauce option; to me, it tastes much better, and I enjoyed the ice-cold Asahi beer. So, why only three stars for the atmosphere? It's not a criticism, just an observation—it's a very basic setting. I don't need flowers or fish tanks. I do appreciate the low ambient lighting, though. I ordered the Sushi Combo for about $29, which included salad and soup. Is there anything I would change? Yes, I’d get rid of the masks. Thankfully, one lovely staff member wasn't wearing one. I also think the entrance could benefit from being brighter and more stylish; it's easy to miss while driving by. Overall, I genuinely look forward to returning.
The quality of sushi at Jae's is consistently excellent. Whenever I'm in the mood for great sushi, this is my go-to place. Food: 5/5
The food was incredible! I had the Croquettes and the Raiders Roll, and both were outstanding. The croquettes had a crispy exterior and a wonderfully soft and tasty interior. The Raiders Roll was fantastic as well—the spicy crab was spicier than I anticipated, but it was still delicious! My partner chose the Chicken Donburi and a California Roll, which I also tried, and they were both excellent!
It is a hidden gem of the neighborhood. They have the best rolls and their service is top notch. Be aware of their closing times.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian roll menu and plenty of other optionsWheelchair accessibility: They accommodate wheelchairs
Pros : The waiters were very attentive. Place was clean and well decorated on the inside. Sushi options were unique. They had average sized rolls. Everything we ordered was pretty good; chicken karaage, dragon roll, Kay special, and something Paradise.Cons : outside wicker walls make the place looks a bit sketchy but the inside is pretty nice. They kept the AC right at the point that it didn't feel hot but it was not cool. Eel on the dragon felt a bit skimped but the eel was soft and the dragon did taste good.
