Subway - San Jose

Terrible service! The staff was very rude and even yelled at us. The service was slow, and the sandwiches were not good at all. I won't be returning. I truly hope this establishment is shut down for good. It was the worst dining experience I've ever had at any restaurant or fast food place.

I had a frustrating experience at the restaurant. The server seemed annoyed when I requested my bacon to be crisped instead of served cold and limp. Honestly, it’s called "heat and serve" bacon, and the menu specifically describes it as crispy. I understand everyone has their days, but if you're at work, it would be great to just do your job.

This restaurant used to deserve a 5-star rating, but it has dropped to 3 stars after my recent experience. I ordered a footlong sandwich on whole wheat, and the bread was stale and dry – it felt like it was a day old. It was cracked and unappetizing. I'm not interested in returning; there are plenty of other sandwich shops nearby.

I ordered a footlong BMT, toasted on white bread with extra lettuce and onions. That's my go-to sandwich, and I'm sticking to it! For fast food, it's consistently good—pretty much the same sandwich no matter where you go. I’d say it's solid fast food, but I wouldn’t make it a regular thing.

I ordered the pastrami, and it was honestly the worst I've ever tasted. I anticipated some shortcomings in quality, but this pastrami was simply awful. I want to stress that this assessment doesn't reflect on the service or the sandwich maker, who was very friendly and pleasant. I strongly suggest considering taking this meat off the menu. It almost made me lose my lunch while eating it, and I definitely won't be ordering it again.
