Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - San Jose

This store seriously needs to get its act together. Slow service would be an improvement. From blank-faced cashiers who take up to 5 minutes per transaction to a kitchen that is lacking any sort of direction or management, you'll be lucky to get your foodby dinner time if you come in to order at lunch. If 5 people are in line ahead of you, expect 30 to 45 minutes minimum toreceive your order. It's just not worth it. You can get back in your car, drive to Taco Bell, get your food and drive home inless time than it takes to even place your order at this Popeye's. Avoid this restaurant.

Food was delicious, service was ok. They were not that busy and they messed up our order, we had a big order and I paid extra for mac and cheese side and they forgot to put my side inside my bag. Spicy chicken is not that spicy.

Chicken sandwich is always great. Mashed potatoes are yummy too. Sometimes the wait can be long, depending on time of day.

The restaurant is situated on the corner, and it's easier to park in the back. The price for the chicken is slightly higher per piece. While the chicken is crispy, the meat could use a bit more juiciness.
