Los Portales Mexican Taste - San Jose

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. I particularly enjoy their Micheladas for their savory flavor. The portions are generous and they also have an AMI music player that they will turn on upon request. The service is always pleasant. My family and I come here every Sunday.

The food and service at this restaurant are great. Our order came quickly and the prices are reasonable. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa. I noticed many people were enjoying the shrimp cocktail, so I will definitely try it next time!

The staff was friendly, but the food was only average. It was edible but nothing outstanding. We ordered burritos with red sauce and a guacamole appetizer. The jukebox played lively music, but it was so loud that we could hardly hear each other across the table. We would give the food 3 stars - we have had much better elsewhere. This was a dine-in lunch experience.

I wish I took pictures of my food but it was so good I didn't get the chance lol We stopped by while in the area and desperately craving flautas. We ordered carne azada nachos , chicken flautas and a burrito. They had agua frescas and so I got the Jamaica and my boyfriend ordered the sangria preparada. Everything was so good and you could tell made from scratch!!! The beans were so creamy and not dry like most restaurants. I will for sure be returning!!! It was also super affordable our bill was about 45$ for all those items. Super yummy
