Kizuna Japanese - San Jose

Good kakiage-Udon that brought me back to Japan. Authentic and delicious. The part is quite large so you get a lot of speed. The big part is great, but after that we realized that we shared a sequence of kakiage Udon and shared something else more easily. It would have been perfect.

It was sooooo good. The Katsu was 10/10. Best cut I ever had, and the most delicious rich curry ever. It'll be back soon. Curry udon was great with a generous help from Curry (order one side of rice to soak the extra). Simple counter service, but very friendly and nice mood.

Very good traditional Japanese cuisine. You are a dog friendly and have an outdoor seating. The food is very cozy and served in a small paper plate, bowl or plate. I recommend the tempura udon and curry.

Food here was tasty and service was great. The curry udon broth was very good. The tonkatsu was acceptable, could have been slightly less dry, but tonkatsu is usually on the drier side anyway. The teriyaki salmon was really yummy especially with rice. Super crisp. The tori karaage was only okay, probably wouldn't order it again just because I felt it wasn't worth paying extra for along with the main.

Came here this afternoon with a few friends in search for my new go-to for Japanese curry. The service is friendly and the environment is really relaxing. The agedashi tofu was really nice. All of the flavors came together well, and the tofu was soft and smooth. I really enjoyed the Katsu curry. The curry sauce is really flavorful and thick, which went well with the rice. I asked for the spicier version, which was indeed quite spicy! The Katsu was also good and crispy, while the meat was the right amount of fatty. I would have wanted a bit more fukujinzuke though. The portion is generous, so I ate about half before feeling full. I think I’ve found my new go-to place, and can’t wait to try other dishes there!
