El Pollo Loco - San Jose

They always forget to put an article in our pocket. At first they didn't give us our chicken in the bag and we went back there to ask for him and they said we could have taken it so that they gave us nothing. And today we ordered a salad and when we came home, there was no salad. The food is good.

Terribly slow service. Workers too busy fulfilling drive-thru orders, so wait time is well over 30 mins. Apparently you get the same amount of dressing (1 small cup) whether you get a side salad or a family size portion. Workers also upset when you ask them for anything, even though the wait is unreasonably long. Pollo Loco tastes great but certainly not worth the wait and terrible customer service. Will no longer be eating here.

I've been eating here for years and it was always my go to lunch place when I worked. The food and service have taken a dive. Check your bag before leaving the drive thru, most of your stuff won't be there. I won't go back, and it makes me sad.

Two classic chicken burrito ordered at 11:29am on 4/1/2021 ready at 11:41am. Nothing special.

I go Loco for El Pollo Loco when I'm feeling that chicken craving. Other places just don't do it as good as El Pollo Loco when it comes to chicken. The grilled chicken is just perfection. Other items are also good but the chicken in their burritos, tacos, and taco salads isn't as good as the standalone grilled chicken. Often it is too burnt or straight up charred like charcoal briquettes. Even so, you can't go wrong if you're looking for good fast casual. Recommend: their grilled chicken duh
