Dunkin' - San Jose

I lived in NYC for many years when it was still Dunkin' Donuts. DD was a daily stop for me. It's nice to return and enjoy a coffee along with one of their incredibly sweet donuts. The Boston cream is still my favorite. While it's not quite the amazing Dunkin' I remember, it's still nice to reminisce.

Returned this morning to order in store. But wait you can't and there are no hours posted for the lobby. We didn't have a good experience ordering via drive thru last time so we drove away. Drive thru menu doesn't show the donuts available and person taking order wasn't helpful last time, basically treating us like we were slow dumb for not knowing the menu of doughnuts. Last time. There are many local doughnut shops that are great and the coffee isn't that great.

Everything is good except the personal. donuts are good, coffee are not bad, personal are unfriendly. People who work here are like a hit on their faces. they don't know how to smile and say hello.

The breakfast sandwiches are excellent, but the donuts are just average. I'd give the coffee a 5 out of 10. As for the breakfast potatoes, they had an unusual flavor, so I won't be ordering those again.

The place seems to be freshly renovated and was absolutely spotless. The parking lot and the inside were both very clean. They are parking onsite at the perimeter of the property and have a drive thru also. They accept NFC payments. Comfortable seating inside: two seat tables, bar style high chairs and bench style couch in front of a large screen TV. Staff was very polite and quick with service.
