Diwan Al Falafel - San Jose

Visited this place for a quick takeout. Ordering is fairly quick and simple. However, it takes 15-20 minutes for a quick fast food restaurant. Ordered the falafel wrap which was very ok. Lacked sauce and flavor. Plenty of seating space but the restaurant is under-staffed and is a bit slow.

It took me way too long to find this listing because the signage all reads Baba 's Falafel but here I am to praise this restaurant no matter what it 's called. I was looking for something different in this strip mall and am so happy I dropped in. The gyro sandwich attracted me. It was large and delicious with a good balance of spices and sauces. The French fries on the side were worth a special order. My family joined me with food they had picked up at other restaurants nearby. After tasting my sandwich, they wanted to order to-go so we picked up our dinner there, too. They also offer many choices of wraps and vegetarian dishes. The gyro meat on rice reheated perfectly. Tasty and moist. Fries reheated nice and crispy. Hummus is great, too.

I came here because my boyfriend recommended the falafel wrap deluxe, and I ended up making it my fav falafel and humus place. Whenever I'm around Milpitas, I come for a falafel wrap.Vegetarian options: Full vegan menu and also meat menu

Worst ever Mediterranean food. Hummus was stale. So was the Shawarma. The person taking orders could not speak or understand normal English so made an error in the order. Will never recommend this place.
