Pizzeria Strike - SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO

I was on road trip with my family and stopped by in San Giovanni rotondo after 8 hours drive for a one night stay to pay a visit to the Sanctuary and rest a bit. By looking at the existing Tripadvisor comments, we’ve decided to give credit to the ratings and show up to this lovely pizzeria. I have to admit it. We’ve loved everything we were suggested starting from the way the place looked like (tiny but comfy and intimate) to finish with the way the Owner and his PUPIL introduced themselves. We’ve loved the fact that the Owner spent almost 20 minutes trying to send the message that it wasn’t just a simple pizzeria. He felt to share that the ingredients and the material used for each single kind of pizza had a meaning and it was a result of years of practice, experimenting and challenges. Besides the great pizza’s and the roulette session by having quite a few pizza cooked with yeast base “living one “Lievito Madre) Nevertheless we loved his KILOMETRO ZERO campaign by pushing local sellers from the local farms, vineyard and grocers. I loved the white BIO wine tasted with the Pizza, very unusual considering the wide variety of beers they‘ve got there. But I liked the combination and I suggest to whoever reads this comment. It was worth ! Ciao Epi

La pizza è buona e merita, ma troppo piccolo e costoso, prezzi della pizza gourmet, secondo me non proporzionati a ciò che offerto.
