Max the owner is very kind and helpful, spartan place immersed in the woods, there are in all five houses, the 4th and the Cascina, is ancient and put in place artisanally, there is no heating in the room, only a three-electric radiator, but two thick feathers, all very clean. On the ground floor entering right there is the kitchen and on the left the common room where you eat, in the face the staircase that leads to the upper floor where there are two bedrooms and that of the owners, a large bathroom with bathtub, toilet, bidet, sink and another small room with toilet and small sink (for boys usually), on the floor of the rooms there is also a sofa with small library for relaxation and a room full of games. You eat very well with what comes from the wood and what cultivates the owner (Max cuisine), especially vegetarian and vegan, but also some local salami and cheese produced in an artisan way as a time; during meals it also serves one or two types of herbal teas, plants and forest flowers. Max produces herbal teas (also customized), ghee butter, soap, jams, bitters or medicated liqueurs, always with herbs and plants of the wood, and much more, being all done by Max production is limited and follows seasonality. A bit 'imprvious to reach him, arrived in San Giovanni Bianco, take direction Frazione Foppe di San Gallo Vite and then call because you have to leave the car in a small parking lot and then walk on the dirt road and then on a road, which is an old mule track in rocks a little bit 'slow; if you arrive with the dark better take a pile because they did not give the owner the opportunity to light the road. Fantastic place surrounded by nature, the farmhouse is historical makes you go back in time. Max does everything alone (but very well) and for this it deserves a plauso, that proposes is a real farm where you find the simple (but excellent) things that proposes and not a menu prepared by a chef as often happens. Beautiful experience. You eat all in one table, where laughter and specialties, carefully prepared and lovingly by the owner, you find yourself in a magical place. Where the rush time the frenzy no longer concur. I highly recommend this fantastic experience

Max super cozy and environment in full contact with nature. Great. We stayed two days in complete harmony with nature and the lifestyle Max's philosophy proposes. Max did not miss a chance to tell us some details about his farmhouse and the food and drinks he proposes. He did everything to make us spend two beautiful days. See you soon.
