Locanda Di San Gemini

We had diner here during our vacation in the second half of July 2018. We visited it with our two young daughters. Place is located on the outskirts of San Gemini, near the parking lot. Service more then okay: even though the restaurant wasn't officially open yet we got served. And, as in most Italian places, staff was very friendly to the little ones. Antipasti were good. Peppersteak was a tad too fat with more then a tad too much sauce. Chips were somewhat too dry.

The antipasto was fresh and large. Very good according to my wife. I had tagliatelle with truffles which was quite disappointing because it did was hard to tell from the taste that there was truffles in the dish. We had saltimbocca a la romana as main course. It was overcooked. Service was very friendly but that was not enough to erase the not so good impression of the meal itself.

Visit this restaurant twice as we had a very warm welcome the first time when the restaurant was not open yet, but we could sit down and drink some wine. Food is very good absolutely no comments. Special thanks and greets to steffie the waitress from Holland ...... Gojka Marcel Duster
