The Beer Box 59

Came on a Sunday when everyone rests... no one here. Had four Mexican beers, complimentary nuts & ceviche. Apparently busy on Friday & Saturday. The whole town is sleepy on Sunday!

As one of the "bottle shop" group, this is as good as any. Not cheap but a choice of hundreds of beers from all over Mexico. The Ceiba brewery from Merida does an excellent Light, but there are many others to choose from. Food is average but helps to soak up the ale!

We went here last week. At first we just came for the beers. They have a great collection with beers from mexico but also imported beers from Europe. We decided to stay for dinner and orderd a pizza and a dish of chicken with tequilla. The food was great. Fresh and you can taste that they use ingredients of good quality. A really nice place to go for food or beer when you are in Campeche.

And, a great selection of microbrews from all parts of Mexico. We went there for lunch today and will probably return tomorrow.

This place has the best range of beers I've seen in Mexico. The beer garden is open and inviting. This place should be a lot busier than it is. Come here when you tire of the weak garbage water that modelo passes off as beer.
