Umami Burger Soma - San Francisco

Big burger in an open dog friendly location! my favorite was the kbbq burger, and sweet potatoes with speck! parking is hard, but there is a lot around. patio is nice place to sit and is dog friendly. service was a bit slow, but they were slightly underoccupied, still friendly service.

The Diablo chicken sandwich is so sharp. it was delicious, but maybe 2 cheers too sharp. umami always has delicious burgers. the sweet potato friars were also great!

I went here specifically for the impossible burger and was not disappointed. seriously one of the best burgers I had vegan or real meat. we sat outside after a Giants game and had great service. we have washed our burgers with a craft beer and there is a great choice from which we can choose.

This place is underestimated, at least judging by my visit, this is a perfect performance on the old Schulburger community that it presents. had a bbq burger, sweet potatoes, swash rings, and a beer (door available); burger was perfectly cooked on a good bungalow, rings and frying were hot and crispy. half a star has docked for a limited beer selection (and very light flat beer), but not enough to knock it. underestimated!

The Food Umami, the taste of savory outside of sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. This is what Umami Burger got their name, and today I got a chance to visit their San Francisco location. My friend and I ordered the Maple Bacon Fries along with the Umami and Throwback. The maple bacon fries had a good taste to them. The sweet potato fries with maple braised bacon lardons and smokey bbq sauce is a good combo. The Throwback burger was good and pretty straightforward. It comes in 2 patties along with cheese, condiments, and sauce. My friend got the Umami burger, and it was not bad for her, except the parmesan frico slice was hard to eat. The Miscellaneous The restaurant is quite spacious inside with plenty of seating as well as a bar area. The interior has some interesting decorations and aesthetics. The service was good and the staff was sincere. Their menu is standard across their locations, with same pricing. But the prices are a bit high when compared to most other burger places. Though it is worth a try with their wide selection of different burgers.
