Uji Time Dessert - San Francisco

I used to really enjoy this place, especially the black sesame soft serve with red bean paste, which was my favorite. However, during my last three visits, the quality has declined—there were large ice crystals and a lack of flavor; something feels off, and not in a good way. It's disappointing, as I find myself searching for the best dessert in Japantown again. On a positive note, their mochi is still quite good!

I absolutely loved the flavors and the quick service. It's a fantastic place to grab some delicious ice cream or soft serve. The seasonal Coca Cola flavor was unexpectedly fantastic!

The black sesame soft serve was excellent—nutty, flavorful, and sweet. It was just $5.50 for a waffle cone or $5 for a cup! Absolutely delicious!

There is no seating at this location. Ordering is done from tablets at the storefront and your name is called for pickup when ready.Uji time had a selection of scoop ice cream and soft serve.We ordered soft serve. They had four flavors available: matcha, black sesame, ube, and cola (seasonal). You can get a twist of flavors even!The black sesame soft serve was especially tasty!

Lots of choices! Tried out their honeydew ice cream (seasonal flavor) together with black sesame on a taiyaki filled with red bean and it was so good!!
