The Halal Guys - San Francisco

This restaurant offers a full-sized and affordable meal for one person or a smaller meal for two people per order. It is a popular spot in NYC, where I first tried their dishes. I appreciate that they are still generously portioned with their scoops. As of January 2023, the meat on the beef and chicken combo platter is still delicious and tender, and vegetarians have the option of falafel. They offer free refills on soda, and they are generous with the sauce, so be sure to specify if you want less. Personally, I enjoy a lot of sauce on my dish!

I love the Gyros at this restaurant. The portion size is generous. I usually ask for less tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. The customer service is top-notch. One time their debit card machine was not working, but instead of insisting on cash, they kindly allowed me to pay with an alternative method. When I couldn't provide another form of payment, they ended up giving me the meal for free. This level of service is exceptional. And the food is delicious!

I am from out of state and the food at this restaurant was incredible! The customer service was outstanding, and despite the long line, my online order was ready in just 11 minutes.

The food taste okay, it doesn't have the unique flavor the halal guys in NYC food truck has. The price is a lot expensive than the NYC, probably because this one is inside a building. Overall, nothing special for this one.Food: 3/5

I had the pleasure of discovering an incredible halal restaurant situated in the bustling downtown area. The service was excellent, and what impressed me was the option to have sauces served separately, allowing me to customize my meal to my liking. Personally, I found the white sauce to be exceptionally delicious. The platters and sandwiches were both of high quality, showcasing fresh ingredients and flavors. I opted for the regular platters, which came to a total cost of approximately $20.I decided to order my meal for takeout and enjoyed it in the dining room of my hotel, which was conveniently located not far from the restaurant, the HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel.Strongly Recommend!
